Web 3.0 for Newbies
Like any new technology movement, Web 3.0 is primarily the domain of enthusiasts right now, many of them engineers or other technically-minded folks. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but we ultimately need the broader public to embrace decentralization, not just the geeks.
To help things along in that regard, I’ve created a new project on GitHub called Web 3.0 for Newbies. It’s a collection of links to articles and other resources to help beginners get up to speed about Web 3.0, including key principles, technology, and prominent community members to follow on Twitter.
If you’re new to the Web 3.0 space yourself, I hope this little project will be of help.
If you’re more experienced and would like to contribute, that’s great too. Just leave your comments, suggested additions, or other feedback on this open thread on GitHub. I’ll be curating the list of links over time, so everyone’s ideas are welcome.
In the meantime, feel free to use or share Web3 for Newbies however you like. It’s open source under the very permissive MIT license, to allow folks to get the word out as widely as possible. ☺️
